Assessment Strategies:

On-going evaluation will take place throughout the duration of this project.   Time frames will be set for (1) Completion of scripts, (2) Collection of supporting props, handson items to be used in the Power Point, (3) Sufficient time scheduled for practice of lessons, (4) Power Point  teaching and designing, etc.   Using these time frames as a guideline will enable me to adjust and improve the progress the class makes.  Teacher observation will be on-going, and  regular “walk-arounds” through the classroom, meeting with groups to conference and monitor their progress will take place daily.   Students will keep a journal throughout this project  to reflect upon their progress, detail their group goals, and manage their timelines.  Also, many opportunities as a class to discuss their progress by using  a student/teacher designed rubric and periodic surveys of their progress on their  lesson development.
